The Graduate was a perfect place for us to stay for 1 night due to the location, the aesthetic and the hotel staff. As an alumna, I took a quick trip to Madison to show my children where I went to university, and it was the perfect place to stay. We could easily get to key university points - Memorial Union, Library Mall, State Street, Bascom Hill, etc. In the morning we took a lovely walk on the Lakeshore Path, and enjoyed scenic views of Lake Mendota. The cafe and restaurant also provide a fun atmosphere. If you are pressed for time, and want to see many of the university spots, I highly recommend this hotel.

We got there late. Valet was very nice and helpful. Front desk was helpful and nice. Went to the rooftop restaurant for burgers and fries and the food and service was really good and friendly. In the morning there is a coffee and pastry shop. Also a Mini Target around the corner. Nice clean rooms, although bathrooms are really small, it is good for one night and very pet friendly.

The hotel is well located in the city centre. The room was relatively small but fine for our needs, spotlessly clean, comfortable. The decor theme of the hotel in general is very nice. Staff are friendly.

Very substantial breakfast burrito -- good value and tasty. Especially pleasant front desk welcome and help with parking and retrieving car.

Such a comforable, happy place to stay. Accessible to campus and nearby State Street. Home away from home. Love the student atmosphere. Love having a small bar and restaurant in the hotel.
